Voice is a jacket, which spells out statements at its back using an array of LEDs and a stencil. It is intended to be used as a mechanism for people to say what they want in cities. Across boundaries and restrictions and politics. Voice was also a series of performances in which I walked around many neighborhoods of Delhi wearing this jacket with some contextual statements.
The walks were around Delhi University, the informal settlements at Okhla industrial estate, Basant Lok, the old Yamuna bridge, Safdarjun flyover and the Indian Parliament.
Other jackets included a portable snack kit and a distraction display system.
